Episode 189: I'm Number Two

Quick episode this week. WIPs include a pair of Wassup Rufus socks in Kool-Aid dyed yarn and a pair of Rye socks in Patons wool. FO of the week is a pair of Lollipop Yarn socks in What a Maroon self-striping with a picot edge. Featured baubles and bling include several patterns we received (all of which look awesome). We draw winners from the membership list for sock yarn and a book and announce that we are giving away two more prizes the week after Christmas!!! We will not record next week due to the holiday.

SHOW NOTES

KAL/CAL:  We will be skipping the December KAL and starting with new themed KALs in January 2015.  Instead we are doing a month of Holiday Giving, and kicking it off by drawing the winners of two new pattern giveaways!  Don't forget to donate to Hope for Kids - if your donation was received by 12/19 you will be entered in a drawing for a Stitched by Jessalu limited edition Webs bag.  Also, if you gift a copy of the Sudice pattern by MK Nance between now and 1/6/15, she will gift a copy to you as a thanks!

We drew winners of the book Wrap Style and a skein of yarn.  When we return the week after Christmas, we will draw winners for a Ploverbird Bag and a skein of yarn!

Wassup Rufus Socks in Knitpicks Bare that was dyed with Kool-Ade in 2008 and sat in a partially knitted sock for 6 years until I frogged and reclaimed it this week.  I modified the pattern to be toe up, with the design only on the front and stockinette on the back.

Episode 188: Totally Exhausted

This week's WIPs include vanilla socks and Rye socks. FOs include the Oxford Hooded Cowl, Kid at Any Age hat and Spring Cable socks. Featured Baubles and Bling include a personalized Christmas ornament and Lollipop yarn in the What a Maroon colorway. We draw winners of the Diamond Cut mitt patterns and the Scrappy Christmas Baubles ornament pattern.

Episode 187: Run Away!

We begin the Month of Holiday Giving! This week, we have two pattern contests for a potential 6 winners! WIPs include an improvised baby hat, Rye Socks, Spring Cable Socks and the Oxford Hooded Cowl. FOs include Wollmeise Spring Cable socks and a Christmas ornament. Featured baubles and bling this week is a huge box of Cascade Fixation that was gifted to Sheila. We draw a lucky winner of the November KAL at the end.
