BOOK REVIEW:

This week, we reviewed Knitedge Magazine, Issue 7 from Cooperative Press.  The magazine has a new editor:  Sarah Eyre of Cephalopod Yarns.  This was our first time reading this magazine and we really enjoyed it.  It has a wide variety of articles, including a sock measurement tutorial, an two-part article about the dyer and her dying process at Blue Moon Fiber Arts, knitting 30 hats in 30 days, a trip to Peru, knitting in London and a visit to the Nordic Museum in Stockholm.  We felt the articles would appeal to an international audience and were definitely a fresh twist on the usual knitting magazine fare.  The issue also includes 7 patterns (one crochet), as well as a link to a multitude of cowl patterns that were designed for Maryland Sheep and Wool and can be purchased on Ravelry.

NEW CONTEST:  You can win a free PDF copy of Knitedge Issue 7!  Just tell us which pattern is your favorite in the thread in our Rav group.  We will draw a winner in episode 209.

We drew contest winners this week for the April KAL/CAL and a sock pattern from Lynn Lounsbury!
