Wendy and Sheila bring you the usual project chat, including a finished Ruby Slippers Shawlette out of handspun yarn. We announce our newest knit-along plans and have a long rant at the end of the show about the Ravelympics Debacle.
I am behind you 100% on your ranting about our society and how all they care about seeing that our children are more interested in athletic performance than in learning their ABCs. It's unreal how they will put money into athletic programs then teaching our children a language or music.
My daughter is living and working in Germany where the children she is taking care of know three languages and the older child is also learning French. What is wrong with us? Why can't our children be given these opportunities to learn new languages. No wonder our children do so poorly in testing.
Oh well, once again Sheila and Wendy, thanks for a great show, as usual.
