Episode 28B - Just Wendy

Wendy shows off her finished Podcaster Challenge project - the Cabled Cowl. She also discusses the progress on her Rhinebeck sweater, shows her ongoing Hexasock blanket project and brings you an awesome discount coupon from Knitting Geisha, good through October 2.
Please check out Knitting Geisha on Etsy. She is offering a 10% discount to all viewers who purchase from her shop before October 2. Use the coupon code KNITONEHEARTTOO for your discount! ***NOTE! I said it wrong during the podcast, I think "one" is spelled out. Oops!***

On Wendy's Dance Card:

Gawain by Alison Greenwill ($7 on Rav) in Dream in Color Classy, Dusky Aurora colorway. US8/5mm needles. This will be my Rhinebeck sweater. I have finished the bust increases and will knit about 2 more inches before starting the sleeves.

Flower to Hexagon Blanket by Jessie Rayot (free on Rav) in The Knitting Goddess mini skeins (sorry, accidentally referred to her as the Yarn Goddess). US size D/3 or 3.25mm crochet hook. I am loving this project!

Rate Your Date:

Celtic Cabled Scarf by Vanessa Lewis (free on Rav) in vintage Maine Maid aran weight wool, blueberry tweed colorway on US9/5.5mm needles. Modified to be a buttoned cowl. Completed for the Podcaster Challenge. Be sure to vote for our projects in the Podcaster Challenge group on Rav! Voting will open soon. And be sure if you knit along with us, you post it in our group to enter to win a prize!

5 stars, Wendy. love how you made the cowl to be worn, sometimes a scarf is too long.
