Episode 86: Not In Vegas, Baby

Wendy records alone while Sheila parties in Vegas. Progress on the Aquaphobia socks and the resurrection of a really old FO (that was filled with bad wool eating bugs!) Lots of baubles and bling from New England Fiber Festival and an in-depth review of Wendy's favorite project bags. Bonus brief silde show from NEFF at the end.

  SHOW NOTES
On The Dance Card:

Aquaphobia Socks by Crystal Flanagan. US2/2.75mm needles, using Into The Whirled pooling sock in the Muse color way. I will be filming a video tutorial on working a short row heel some time this weekend using these socks.

Rate Your Date:

Felted Entrelac Clutch by Meg White. US10/6mm needles, using Wisdom Yarn in the Poems base (long color transitions). This pattern is not suitable for people who have never tried entrelac before.

Whirlwind Romance & Future Dates:

I'm still working on the sweater yarn for the Skipperdee sweater.

Baubles & Bling:

Spunky Eclectic Combed Top, 80% Merino, 20% Cashmere in the Miami Moon colorway.

Mad Color Fiber Arts Combed Top, Alpaca, Merino and silk blend in pink (no color way on label).

Stitched by Jessalu bag - pink and blue pig pattern outside and little blue birds pattern inside.

Gossip and Innuendo:

I talked about my three favorite project bag vendors and why I liked them. You can check out Stitches by Jessalu at the link above.
