On The Dance Card:
Sheila is working on:
Wonderful Wallaby by Carol A. Anderson in a toddler size. She is using a Knit Picks yarn, but is not certain which base it is.
A baby blanket of her own design.
Wendy is working on:
Vortex Throw by Lisa Gentry in Lion Brand Wool-Ease on a USH/5mm hook. Will be gifted to our friend who was injured in the Boston Marathon bombing. It is STILL not finished.
Seashell Shawl by Ivy Brambles Yarn in Blue Moon Fiber Arts Silk Thread II.
Crooked Walking Shawl by Anne Hanson in Nightingale Fibers Martha base (Baby Alpaca/Silk) in the Grey Sky colorway on US3/3.25mm needles. It is a sport weight, but I think it will work okay with this pattern. I am doing the medium shawl.
Sweetie Pie Hat by Tanis Gray in Be Sweet Bambino Taffy
Whirlwind Romance:
Wendy is spinning:
Dyeabolical Yarns Portuguese Merino in the Flower Shop Inferno color way.
Highland Handmades Superwash Merino in the This is Just to Say color way
Future Dates:
Wendy plans on knitting:
Hiro Sweater by Julia Farwell-Clay in Valley Yarns Berkshire
Baubles & Bling:
Blue Moon Fiber Arts yarn from the Grab Bag Sale. Sheila ordered medium weight, and ended up getting a bag of heavy weight by mistake, which the company let her keep.
Gossip & Innuendo:
Fiber Revival on Newburyport, MA on August 10, 2013. A nice family event with lots of terrific vendors!!
