Episode 115: We Talk Weight Loss

The ladies bring you their usual project chat, including the Wonderful Wallaby sweater, the Crooked Walking Shawl and the never-ending Vortex blanket. We show off lots of goodies from Maine Fiber Frolic, including fiber from Highland Handmades and PortFiber. We talk about our current weight loss strategies as well!

Show Notes:
If you would like to donate to aid the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, please go to The One Fund.

KAL/CAL:  Lace Theme.  Post a picture of your finished items for babies or kids in the thread in our group between now and July 31.  Rules and additional information are HERE.

On The Dance Card:

Sheila is working on:

Wonderful Wallaby by Carol A. Anderson in a toddler size.  She is using a Knit Picks yarn, but is not certain which base it is.

Wendy is working on:

Vortex Throw  by Lisa Gentry in Lion Brand Wool-Ease on a USH/5mm hook.  Will be gifted to our friend who was injured in the Boston Marathon bombing.  It is STILL not finished.

Crooked Walking Shawl by Anne Hanson in Nightingale Fibers Martha base (Baby Alpaca/Silk) in the Grey Sky colorway.  It is a sport weight, but I think it will work okay with this pattern.  I am doing the medium shawl.

Whirlwind Romance:

Wendy is STILL spinning:
