Sheila and Diane sit and chat and rag on Wendy, just a little.
Turn up the volume, we are a little quiet, sorry.

Gossip and Innuendo:
Sheila shares her Plurk Podcaster Challange finsished object. The
Pembroke Vest by Kirsten Kapur in Dream in Color Classy in Blue Thunder. Knit on US 5/3.75 mm and US 7 / 4.5mm needles. Mods, she used the Coffee Mug Cozy cable then the pattern cable and added a little heart to it.
Please post your finished objects in the thread on our board
here, by September 27th. Don't forget to tag your project page PPC2011 so that you can be entered for a prize.
Also, this Challange won't work if you do not vote. We need you to vote for us from September 28th through October 2nd
here. Please vote, be honest with it, and vote. Thank you. Again a big thanks to Lois.
On The Dance Card:
Diane has
Sara Luverne on the needles by Ellen Mason using US 8 / 5.0 mm needles and
Mad Color Fiber Arts Indulgence in Sweet Baby James Colorway.
Sheila has
Pembroke Hat by Amy Shannon on US 5 / 3.75 mm and US 7 / 4.5 mm using the leftover Dream in Color Classy in the Blue Thunder color. I am doing the cables from the back, because it is easier for me with out a cable. I also have
Shetland Triangle by Evelyn A. Clark with Cascade ECO + in a dark Forest Green color on US 10 / 6.0 mm. Last I am working on the
Top Down Mittens by Rachel of Dyebolical Yarn. Using Cascade 220 in a baby blue on US 5 / 3.75 mm needles. Great pattern go check it out, very versatile.
Rate Your Date:
Diane Showed off two finish objects,
Royal Tulips Shawl that she did using handspun from
Spirit Trail Fiberworks Cashmere Bombyx Silk 50/50 that she spun in to 2 ply. Knit in US 4 / 3.5 mm
colorway Fire, absolutley gorgeous and soft. Diane's other finishe object is
Tappan Zee Cardigan by Amy King, again a handspun Mad Color Fiber Arts (formerly Sereknity Yarn and Fiber) BFL Top that she spun up to a 3ply. Knitted using US 6 / 4.0 mm. Also a lovely sweater.
Sheila finished her Frank monster based on the
Irving the Ice Box Monster by Rebecca Danger on US 3 / 3.25 mm needles with Knit Picks Comfy in various colors. One Night Stand:
Frankensteins Monster Cloth by Brian McGaunn on US 8 / 5.0 mm with Lily's Sugar and Cream cotton yarn.
Future Dates:
Sheila just wants to finish her projects and to cast on, finally, for the Heath Socks.
Diane doesn't have anything planned. She has fallen in love with the
Hexa Puffs by Tiny Owl Knits. (sorry I said it was little owl, it is Tiny Owl.)
Baubles and Bling:
Sheila shows off some The Sanguine Gryphon's Bugga which is 70% Superwash Merino, 20 % Cashmere, and 10 % Nylon in the Golden Orb Weaver colorway that I won from the
Pagan Knitters Podcast. She also received a sample of Sanguine Gryphon's Gaia Lace which is 40 % Cashmere and 60 % Silk. Love it.
Diane shares her fiber from
Southern Cross Fiber of the month club. Gorgeous.
Crushes and Heartbreak:
Sheila still loves her Maytag dryer. I am caught up on laundry, oh my.
Diane talks about her Epic Fail and Heartbreak with her
Mondo Sweater.
